Piano Pieces. Photography Assignment #1 : Variations

theartofphotography.tv/episodes/photography-assignment-1-...

The piano tuner condemned my piano. It cannot be tuned. The cost to replace pins etc would be more than the piano is worth. It was a gift from my husband more than 20 years ago. He bought it used (it was probably built in 1958 according to the piano bluebook website). I am o.k. with saying goodbye. A new one is not that costly considering it would outlast any new camera or computer I would buy. I also think it is time to learn a new instrument. But, what do I do with a condemned piano? The tuner recommended that I dismantel it some so that no one would be tempted to rescue it from the dump. I think I could use it for an incredible photo op... bonfire, catapult, flower pot... Any ideas out there? Suggestions welcomed.

- From Romeo and Juliet

The most perfect little music box, in the shape of a grand piano. And it plays the theme song of Romeo and Juliet - oh, the irony...

I absolutely love it. It couldn't be any more perfect.

I had a good day today.
