The next time a meteorologist or astronomer says there’s a Super Full Moon tonight, I want to walk out the door and see something like this. Played around with PhotoshopMix on my iPhone to create this effect.
This picture started out as two photos shot with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 camera. The photos were posted at different times on Facebook. From there, I pulled the pictures from the Facebook file on my Photoshop app. They were combined in the PhotoshopMix, which was a new feature updated on my iPhone. I don't have Adobe Photoshop on my laptop. This would explain the lack of camera information next to the map.
It was cold enough that a light snowfall stuck around for a couple of days and shooting out my front window, everything was all sparkles. Tried a different way of editing an image this time - my Adobe subscription provides access to Photoshop Mix and Elements across mobile devices and used those instead. Not sure I like it (particularly dislike the stamp PS Express puts on the image) but it’s probably just a question of getting more familiar with their capabilities.
Double exposure of my backyard and a statue mixed with Photoshop Mix. The rain added with Photoshop Express.
Ripponden and Anderton
I missed the eclipse on Monday night, but I did manage to get a shot of the full moon out of a window in the early evening. A few minutes after I took my images the sky clouded over and that was the end of any chance of seeing the blood moon.
My shots were just of the white moon in the middle of a black sky, and were on the whole very boring, so with a bit of jiggery pokery using a photo from a couple of days before, a little colouring and an app called PhotoShop Mix I put the two photos together and created this - cheating I know but it filled up a few minutes on a cold snowy afternoon.

A little playing around with a picture shot with my Panasonic Lumix. I used the PhotoshopMix app on my iPhone to create this image.
Hotrod shot with my iPhone through the windscreen added to my shot of the Seaford pier. Could have made the car a bit bigger but oh well.
Saturday Self Challenge
I know it is probably a bit early for some of you, but I need springtime in my life so much! So the next challenge will be Signs of Spring
And I haven't forgotten about you who live in the Southern Hemisphere; show us Signs of Autumn.
This is the time of the year when weather can change rapidly, so hopefully you can spot something that tells you spring/autumn is around the corner by next Saturday! ;-
This challenge would have ideal two weeks ago when we had a week in February that was wonderful and very springlike. Sadly this week we’ve been bombarded with storm after storm, going outdoors has not been an option.
Stuck with what to do, I initially settled for a photo of a bunch of daffodils bought from the supermarket. This was going to be my image until I spotted (during a brief period between the heavy showers) that the trees on the opposite side of our valley are just starting to change colour and show some signs of growth.
Having failed on a another project, which was to capture a magpie building her nest, I decided to take a photo of the trees and blend them with the daffs to produce this. Both shots taken without stepping foot outside the house.

An iPhone photograph, pulled through DistressedFX, Brushstroke, recombined in PhotoshopMix, taken into Photoshop proper on my MacBook Pro, filtered, Topazed and generally tampered with, until I was happy...

The two images used to create this can be viewed in the first comment box below. Both images were edited separately, colour enhanced and manipulated with the PS Express and Aviary phone apps. PicsArt and PhotoshopMix were used to layer and blend the two images and finished details were done with iPiccy.
BiG THANKS to EVERYONE for your personal comments and also your support from selected groups.

We are on the road. Not a great place to be considering Hadley now has a slight fever, and I am once again experiencing problems with pain when walking. The hotel hallway, duplicated and flipped fits my attitude.
