We were sitting on the hill at Gerroa overlooking Seven Mile Beach. We had a bench to sit on to watch the photoshoot.
This girl was asking for a photoshoot, a lump on the edge of the screen door this morning that I couldn’t ignore. She wasn’t at all photogenic there tucked into the screen, and it occurred to me that I had never done a photoshoot inside with a big orbweaver. Typically I find them in webs that I don’t want to destroy by collecting the spider – all that hard work! Or if not in the middle of the web, they’re up high or completely hidden for the day.
So I grabbed the opportunity. She was camera shy at first, all balled up, legs in tight, but eventually she relaxed and started exploring. Not very adept at moving across glass, this was a perfect opportunity for me to get some photos. I then released her outside near a porch light; I’ll have to check later whether she set up residence there.
Many of the big fat orbweavers we’re seeing now, particularly in the eastern half of the country, are this species or cousins. Three very large ones have been in my dad’s yard for over a month, and several of you have sent me a photo of one recently. They typically build their webs at dusk and eat them at dawn, finding a place to hide out for the day, but those at my dad’s house have been leaving theirs up all day.

Un retrato intenso, sensual.
Creo que ya lo he dicho en varias ocasiones, pero me encantan este tipo de fotos.
Aparte de tener mucha personalidad y mucho estilo.. tiene tanta confianza en sí misma que lo transmite a todo aquel que le rodea.
Una actriz muy prometedora aparte de una gran persona.
Es un lujo poder mezclar estilos.. artes.. pensamientos.. risas.. en fin, adoro ser actriz, fotógrafa... escritora..aunque lo dejase de lado por una temporada.
Necesito hacer muchas cosas para expresarme.. abrirme ante las personas y mostrar en cada momento lo que soy, lo que siento, lo que pienso.
estoy contenta por mis avances y por tener a tanta gente a mi alrededor que me apoya constantemente, no solo animando sino también con críticas constructivas.
Seguiré mejorando.. .. haciendo estas cosas
