My new Canon Pro-10 which I got for an absolute STEAL of a price. I'm in love with printing my photographs. Though seeing them on a screen isn't quite so special anymore. Nothing compares to bringing your work into physical existence with a high quality print you have made yourself. I've been refilling it with left over ink from empty PGI-29 cartridges. So if you are in the USA and have some you want to get rid of message me I might take them off your hands. Thanks
Shot at night, photo of a photographer in a part, offering ready to take photo prints via his portable canon printer. He was taking a print at the moment I shot this and I think he got a little conscious.
Ideal for viewing with the Lite OWL viewer (or by using your eyes if you can do that). Very happy to achieve a digital workflow that leads to analogue Instax prints. Thanks to Stereoeye on Twitter for showing that this can be done.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the newsagents... lol...
Delighted to say i got this shot published in Digital Photographer magazine, doubly delighted as it won Website photo of the month which comes with a very impressive, if space consuming, Epson A3 photoprinter... All for uploading a collection of shots to their website... give it a go...
My office - computer, printers, scanner, sewing machines & vintage patterns. And yes, that's a turntable - I'm transferring my vinyl records to mp3 files.
Before Miles was born I agreed with Nicki that I would give up my study to turn it into a nursery as long as I could get me a laptop. This would mean that I could work anywhere and wouldn't need that big hunk of beige box and an unwieldy desk. Of course, this is when I got the Powerbook. My dream computer. Problem solved, you might think.
However, since I started doing more and more freelance work, my options were:
a) Working on a 12" screen on my lap (burning through my legs)
or
b) Bringing a big 17" CRT from the loft to the kitchen any time I needed any screen real estate
I'm sure you'll agree that neither of these is a great option.
So this week, when I took on a fairly long run of projects, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and buy myself a monitor. The Wife agreed and told me to go out and buy one that day. I did. A 20.1" Formac Gallery Platinum.
It's a gorgeous monitor, and it does look lovely on the kitchen table, but it's still not an ideal working environment. I needed my desk back.
So here it is. I got it out of the loft this morning and butchered it to fit it into the alcove in the spare room. I bought myself an Apple keyboard from the Apple store yesterday, and got out the Mighty Mouse that I early-adopted and then never used.
This is my new desk setup and I'm loving it.
Yay me!
(17 of 30) This is what an inner part of a wet lab looks like. I'm kind of having a very strange week at the moment - working way to much and just feeling a bit like a machine. Another day another work day
If you could quit work forever, what would be the first thing you would do?
Actually a multipurchase Fax/Phone/Answering Machine/Scanner/Copier/Photo Printer/Wireless Network Printer.
It's pretty sweet... and only cost me $135 from HSN.
We frequently fax letters and documents to Philippines and our old one was just giving us too much trouble, so I bought this for my Mom.
Just got this mobile Polaroid PoGo Printer just for fun and it was well worth it for the entertainment value that it brings!! It works great with the PictBridge(PTP) function that the LX3 offers! It also worked great with the Canon G10. Imagine the small size of the LX3 combined with the size of this little PoGo and you have a mini studio anywhere you go, one in each of your pant pockets LOL! We are taking this to a birthday party and giving the little polaroid photos (the photo is a sticker too!) to the little kids!!!

Looking at photographs on the computer screen is neat but there is nothing like holding a photograph you made with your very own hands. So every now and then I select a few of the photos I've made and print them out.
Nothing flancy mind you. Just simple 5x7 glossy to toss around the house.
Any of you print your photos out?
Also I just setup my about me page!
Some snapshots of my wedding guestbook. These photos were taken by our awesome photographer Albert Yau of SecondPrint Productions. I arranged them myself in a layout, leaving a lot of blank areas so our friends and family could write messages. As a tip, if I could change one thing, I'd find a finer point metallic pen, or use a lighter background so I could use a fine black Sharpie.
This was so much better than a regular guestbook and it encouraged our guests to write cute and fun messages to add to our memories of our big day. It was a great way to showcase our engagement photos as well.

Canon Selphy CP910 Review
“Selfie” might be the buzzword of the moment, but Canon’s been using it to brand photo printers for a decade or so. Like previous models, the Canon Selphy CP910 is an extremely compact printer that’s designed specifically for printing postcard or credit card size photos,...

My parrot photo printed on a Canon Pixma Pro9500 at the San Diego Calumet.
I had this photograph printed at this size on Epson, Canon and HP printers at Calumet's Printer Shootout. Overall, I was the most impressed with the Epson Stylus Pro 3800.
My new printer, one of the things I picked up on black friday. It looks like Amazon is out, but I'm sure it will be back.
This replaces my previous Epson Stylus multi-function printer which had jammed up with ink and gotten so crappy, nothing was readable. This new HP is pretty cool, it's got USB, wired ethernet, and wireless ethernet.
Today I bought a printer and aren't you just so glad you're following my amazing madcap smiles-a-minute adventure thrillride of a life?

Big size, big on performance, small on ink usage.
Photo quality at the right price, simply amazing.

I got myself a mini photo printer for my birthday. It may be my favorite toy ever. It's tiny and portable, and I use it all the time.

Just got the Epson R340 in, after some research, and some visiting to CompUSA I picked up the printer from Newegg, must say very very pleased!
Demonstrates how to load fine art paper such as Velvet Fine Art and Hot Press/Cold Press papers into the Epson Stylus Photo R1900 using the rear single sheet guide.
I put this montage together from photos taken by my daughter during a recent vacation to Las Vegas. I did the initial enhancements, cropping and 'faux' matting in PhotoShopElements and then used PrintMasterPlatinum to do the final layout, resizings and caption. This was then printed with an Epson 1400 PhotoPrinter on 13" x 19" paper. It's pretty impressive at that size...!
Keep in mind that with these procedures, this ends up as a single .jpg file....ready to print and not as 17 individual photos.

I bought a new printer yesterday. It was cheap and I knew the photo printing wouldn't be that great, but I'm getting horrible tram/track lines across my photographs. I'm not sure why it's doing it. Apart from that it's a pretty good little printer, it's shiny too.

Brand new photo printer I bought my mom for Mother's Day. She cried when the first photo printed out. LOL!
