A trekker takes some time in a local community which is just outside of Cusco to play soccer with one of the local boys.
Jose Cusi is a Tour Leader and Photographer in Cusi Travel. Here he is standing on top of Huayna Picchu, the mountain that overlooks the ruins of Machu Picchu. He is always taking photographs of everyone else, it was his turn to have his picture taken!
From our camp site in Mahuaypampa on this clear night, we were able to enjoy an amazing view of the night sky. Just before sunrise, the sky was filled with so many brilliant stars and the cool night air was so quiet and peaceful.
This photograph of the Cathedral of Cusco, located in the Plaza de Armas, was taken using long exposure with 20 seconds. It turned out great with some awesome effects!
This is the fourth day of the Salkantay hike, where our trekkers enjoy a gorgeous view of Machu Picchu in the background. Besides the Inca Trail, there are several other beautiful hikes where you will end in Machu Picchu.
In Peru, there are many people who maintain their ancient culture and dress traditionally. This woman wears a traditional Quechua hat as well as a colorful blanket tied around her neck to carry produce and belongings on her back.
This is the statue of the Inka Pachacutec that sits on the fountain in the main square, Plaza de Armas, in Cusco.
On the second day of the Inca Trail, this trekker takes a photograph after learning how to use aperture!
