A shot taken after finished climbing the Jabal Tsur from below, can't see the peak! I love how the sky and the rocky hill were paired in this shot. And I also miss my D40 while taking this shot.

And most importantly, have a nice weekend my friends!!!

I have the impression that all the inhabitants of Genoa drive motorcycles and scooters.

Garrapata State Park, Big Sur, California

A view looking north along the Big Sur coast on a cloudy spring day. The mustard plants (Brassica nigra) in the foreground are an Old World import, brought over as a crop (its seeds are the source of that common yellow condiment), but then escaping into wild.

Farmers call it a weed, ecologists call it an invasive species, and the general public calls it pretty.

I offer it here as a pretty foreground.

The Royal Edward Victuallying Yard No.8 building (REVY C) is located at Darling Island Pyrmont and was formerly occupied by the Nav.

This is a heavily perspective corrected hand held panorama. Cutting the tops of the building off hides some of the distortion. As I shot this of centre (due to a huge yacht being in the way), I had to skew the façade considerably. None the less with some tweaking in Photoshop / NIK I am very happy with it.

Taken on a city walk with the new expanded city walk gang.

A note from Wiki, a Victualler is:

"A victualler is traditionally a person who supplies for the crew of a ship food, beverages and other provisions on a vessel at sea"

Also this heritage listed building was designed by one of Australia's most prominent architects, Walter Liberty Vernon.

When I consider perspective, the word distance comes to mind. Distance from people, places, and things. Distance from past occurrences both good, comfortable and bad, uncomfortable. In this image, I am looking at a more in-depth perspective or distance within and out of my person. Most often, I believe, holding on to a positive attitude helps to maintain a healthy outlook on life.

I'm forever evaluating my behavior. Am I kind enough? Do I say the right things? Is my presence a positive light, contributing more rather than less?

There is a wide-world swirling with pockets of darkness that seem to have an unexplainable magnetism. For myself, holding on to perspective begins within me, the hope of retaining positivity and sharing the light matters.
