Walking the shore line of the Delaware shore line I found this structure to be interesting enough to capture. Interesting look at visual perspective built of wood. Manchmal hat man so eine Eingebung wenn man etwas sieht und dann muss man es einfach machen. Meine Eingebung war die Perspektive vom Sitz der Bank aus zu nutzen um den tollen Bärlauchteppich zu betrachten. Wie findet ihr es?

Sometimes you have an inspiration when you see something and then you just have to do it. My inspiration was to use the perspective from the seat of the bench to look at the great wild garlic carpet. How do you like it?

Идею подъёмника придумал и «пробил» «инженер в квадрате», по выражению министра путей сообщения Сергея Витте, Артур Абрагамсон. Непосредственными авторами проекта были инженеры Н. К. Пятницкий и Н. И. Барышников. Первоначальный проект предусматривал длину подъёма 250 метров, но из-за невозможности снести один нижний частный дом ограничились строительством двухсот метров «канатки».
