A little fun alt-history.
Featuring AIR, [MW], Sakka's Studio, Schadenfreude, and UZME Poses @ BAROQUED Orientilika (closing November 7th).

We went out west to see a land of red. But with the recent rains across the southern interior of the Australian continent, it was green and flowers in bloom everywhere ... except at Perry Sandhills. It's a little patch of red sandhills popular with the locals in the Mildura / Wentworth area and of course any tourists out that way. I finally got to see just a slightly large expanse of red dirt.
Not only is Perry Woods a beautiful place to walk but it is the place we go to gather Cob and Sweet Chestnuts for our Christmas nut puree and brittle to serve in cakes and to sandwich between meringue and for roasting over on open fire in the garden on bombfire night.....
I fell in love with Perry, a slightly dappled older horse discovered in a Maine pasture. I photographed him for years. This whimsy was created for the Animal Farm challenge in the Challenges Group.

The OKC Zoo had a naming contest for their 8 goat babies before the new Children's zoo opened. Yes one of them is named Bowlegs LOL

I took these images whilst skateboarding round Perry's Perry's paddock in Joondalup. It was late spring and the grass in the paddock was golden and orange with colour. A real "little house on the prairie". It really was beautiful sight.
Dark clouds, blue sky and evening light gave just the right ingredients for this spot lighting.
