This was a long drive that we obviously have done twice now because we got lost last time. We cut through peoples camps with disregard to get the shot. Nobody was harmed getting the shot, but it was a rough road..

Peaches are in season and I'm having some at breakfast every day. So delicious.
She scatters in her path the sweetest flowers of nature, and everywhere breathes fragrance and joyousness. The birds of the air are carolling her welcome, and even the mute beasts of the field seem happier at her coming :-)

These Mandevilla flowers with the large, trumpet-shaped petals and a golden-orange throat are called “Giant Peach Sunrise”. I photographed these beauties outdoors at the Enabling Garden in Altoona, Iowa.

The peaches in my greenhouse are now ready for picking. The root is grown outside the greenhouse and the branches are trained along vertical and horizontal caines inside. I usually harvest a couple of dozen. They are flavoursome, sweet and juicy. A napkin to hand is essential 😇
the central Texas peaches are plentiful now, especially around Fredericksburg. Fujifilm X-A1 and XC16-50.
