I bought this little peach tree as a bare root. It was hard to imagine that this stick, with no visible signs of life, would become anything other than kindling. However, it has flourished and is now covered in the most beautiful blossom.

Flowers of a dwarf peach tree (Prunus persica Bonanza) in the Tucson, Botanical Gardens.

the central Texas peaches are plentiful now, especially around Fredericksburg. Fujifilm X-A1 and XC16-50.

The peaches in my greenhouse are now ready for picking. The root is grown outside the greenhouse and the branches are trained along vertical and horizontal caines inside. I usually harvest a couple of dozen. They are flavoursome, sweet and juicy. A napkin to hand is essential 😇

This, too, is from the archives, from September of 2017. This, of course, is from my favorite rose garden, Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington. The inner layers are a little bright, but I think the outer layers are just gorgeous, like peaches and cream! Hope you all enjoy!
