Spiral Staircase at St Paul’s Cathedral

Built-in the early 1700s, the Dean’s staircase in St Paul’s Cathedral, London is more recently known as the entrance to Professor Trelawney’s divination classroom in the Harry Potter films.

The medieval spiral staircase features wrought iron spindles and patterns that are beautifully forged into the balustrades.

Paul was originally at a lumber yard in Enid, Ok. When the lumber yard closed it was purchased and moved to an auto salvage yard in Aline Ok where he as kept watch over the junk cars for probably close to 40 years now

I've taken this shot and posted it before but I really liked the morning light and colours in this version. St Pauls Cathedral on a Sunday morning in a very popular spot for photographers on the ground floor of One New Change.
