Hide-a-Snake

Snakes have wonderful colors and patterns that help them hide and survive. While it would be great to have access to many kinds of snakes at one time to demonstrate this concept, these painted snakes are far better than a PowerPoint, especially for small groups or in an outdoor setting. Framing the church spire are these tortured branches of old plane trees in the graveyard of St Giles' church, Camberwell. The churchyard is now basically a small park, with most gravestones placed along the edges.
