Not thrilling, but wanted to document it anyway. Just trying to cover up some studs, and then some arrows appeared...

From Wikipedia: "Maclura pomifera, commonly known as the Osage orange, is a small deciduous tree or large shrub, typically growing to 8 to 15 metres (30–50 ft) tall. The distinctive fruit, from a multiple fruit family, is roughly spherical, bumpy, 8 to 15 centimetres (3–6 in) in diameter, and turns a bright yellow-green in the fall. The fruits exude a sticky white latex when cut or damaged. Despite the name "Osage orange", it is only very distantly related to the orange,[3] and is instead a member of the mulberry family, Moraceae.[4]"

Just a test shot in my old office, but it grabs me.
The light and shadows, creating patterns on the arm of the chair, and creating dots of light on the radiator in the lower part of the frame. The texture of the covering on the arm of the chair, glittering here and there. The window shades creating stripes of light.
In another time and with less experience, I would have deleted this image. Now, I keep most and find gems in those previously passed over.
Waste not, want not.

It's December, time for stars to be put up as Christmas frenzy builds up.
The patterns that they throw into shadows are one that i love.
Here is an image from Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Oman that is a reminder of intricate light patterns in shadows.
The mosque just as the name sounds is a grand architectural marvel, the construction of which started in 1995 and opened to public in 2001. WHat i loved about being there in the night was that i could experience this beautiful play of light and shadow in its various spaces especially the alleys.
