Not as elastic as ribbing, but a stretchy fabric. Walker recommends knitting with smallish needles and I agree that it looks best when knit at a tighter gauge than recommended for the yarn. If I did it again, I'd probably go down at least a needle size.
This is the front brake on a Harley Davidson FLHX. You can tell by looking at it that it's anxious to get on the road this Spring!

. . . When you live on the forest floor, with large trees all around you, there isn't a whole lot of sunlight! Ferns compensate for this low light by using an alternate branching pattern, so they get the most of the rare solar photons!

This is another coconut tree near the carpark of St. Simon's Church in Likas. This tree produces great looking coconuts, I almost felt like climbing the tree (though I can't) and get some down to drink! I'm hoping that the coconuts will get old soon so I can plant the seedlings in my garden - to replace my tree that has toppled and is now hanging on for its dear life.
