Patrick Mahomes is the Chiefs MVP quarterback and very loved here. Lots of photos taken by this sign. Someone must have bumped the 'S' as well as a few other letters. Didn't notice until later on the computer. Shot quickly as lots of people in line to take photos next to it.
Kansas City's Union Station continues to add new things inside to celebrate the KC Chiefs winning the AFC and going to Super Bowl LIV in Miami on February 9th. Lighting rather dim so photos not the best quality. Taken during the day, I'm sure it is even cooler at night. Sorry for so many similar photos.

While he's happy that Kansas City got the #1 seed in the playoffs, he wasn't thrilled by Mahomes (his hero) sitting out or losing to the Chargers. Yeah, he's a fan.

Photo from the Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The game is hosted by Kansas City native's Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet, Rob Riggle, and David Koechner and benefits Children's Mercy Hospital. 2019 was the 10 year anniversary of the celebrity weekend which includes a poker game and bowling tournament, and to date it's raised over $8 million toward children's cancer research.

This mural was actually created before Super Bowl LVII when just about all Eagles thought this mural would depict what would happen before the big game. That obviously wasn't the case.
Capturing the CBS Sports television broadcast soon after Travis Kelce's 8 yard reception from Patrick Mahomes in Overtime, giving the Kansas City Chiefs a 42-36 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Playoff game.
Down 3 with only 13 seconds left in regulation, Chiefs make two receptions down the field, allowing Harrison Butker to make a field goal to tie the game and send it into overtime.
It was one of the most intense games I've ever watched.
Chiefs will host the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead next Sunday (for the fourth consecutive year), when they play the Cincinnati Bengals - winner goes to Super Bowl LVI.

Mural of Patrick Mahomes and tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs as they prepare for Super Bowl LIV this Sunday in Miami. First time in 50 years to play in the Super Bowl. Win or lose, it's been a great year. Special thanks to James Weatherly for the location of the mural. Cars and mud in front of mural so limited photo angles.
Walked around onto Main Street to get a couple of photos of the other side. Hard to get good photos with the sound of squealing brakes, cars crashing into each other and loud profanities being yelled at me for being in the street! :) Just kidding, made sure not cars coming for the few seconds I was there.
Free rides for a couple of hours today with pep band, mascot KC Wolf, trivia games and more to celebrate the Chiefs winning the AFC West and their first playoff game Sunday. No time for a ride but had to grab some photos, sorry for so many.
UPDATE: The Chiefs won their game against Houston on Sunday 1/12 and will host Tennessee on 1/19 with the winner going to the Super Bowl in Miami.
SECOND UPDATE: The Chiefs defeated Tennessee on 1/19 and will play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, 50 years since their last appearance and only Super Bowl victory.

For the first time in my lifetime, the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions!!!
It's the first title for the Chiefs in 50 years (their only other championship was in Super Bowl IV).
Let the celebrating begin!!

Opening drive for Patrick Mahomes (#15) and the Kansas City Chiefs offense against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
Chiefs would eventually beat the Ravens in OT, 27-24.
