Bridgeton Covered Bridge. This bridge and mill are beautifully set looking over a small spillway. In 2005, this bridge was destroyed by arson then rebuilt a year later.
The self proclaimed "Covered Bridge Capital of the World!" Within the county's borders are 31 covered bridges. We did not see them all, but had a great time. The first bridge we visited was the Billie Creek Covered Bridge ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billie_Creek_Covered_Bridge ) See also: www.coveredbridges.com/
Un bellissimo e suggestivo castello situato su una sponda del Lago Gill, a pochi km nell'entroterra di Sligo. E' stato costruito nei primi decenni del '600.
Jackson Bridge - While most of the bridges in my Parke County series were similar in appearance, this one was different in design and appearance. It was a lot of fun to drive through the county looking for as many covered bridges as we could in the time we had. None of the bridges shown in this series was uploaded more than once. This bridge is notable for having been build during the American Civil War. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackson_Covered_Bridge

Built in 1882, the Parke County Courthouse is part of the Rockville National Historic District which includes an impressive 210 buildings. The architect of this gorgeous building was Thomas J. Tolan. The District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. One of eight historic courthouses that I found on last October's covered bridge road trip.
