I took this late afternoon shot looking along a valley towards Cathedral Peak, which is the distant peak on the right side of this panoramic landscape. Cathedral Peak is the main point of access to some of the wildest areas of the central Drakensberg, and provides some most spectacular scenery.

Another panorama of the Karwendel. This is a near 360° view from the highest point I reached that still facilitated setting up the tripod. View in XXL.

Autumn panorama from the Krausberg Tower above Dernau in the Ahr Valley.
The view extends from the Hocheifel (Aremberg) to Cologne and on the far right to the Siebengebirge (Petersberg).
Unfortunately, after the flood last year, this picture is no longer possible. Much down in the valley has been destroyed (houses, vineyards, trees...).
Panorama made up of 9 vertical images of 35 mm each.

Panorama of Reykjavik seen from slightly below Steinn. Don't believe the multitude of Iceland photos with sunshine and blue sky. This is true Icelandic weather.
The ascent starts from the parking place in the lower left at sea level. While I had to stop several times being afraid of getting a heart attack if I don't, a handful of Icelandic trail runners were running up or down the hill like it were an ordinary jogging spot.
Very fresh up on the hills last weekend , even had some light snowfall so glad I had taken an extra few layers . Still lovely views over the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray .

Three image panorama captured in raw, processed in Capture One, and stitched together in Photoshop.
Shipwrights Bay, Blakehurst, Sydney, looking south across the Georges River towards Tom Uglys Bridge and Sylvania at sunset. A panorama of six photos merged in Photoshop. I have previously posted single photos taken from this point. This is my first attempt at a panorama.
Looks better enlarged.
Have a very happy end to 2018 and a wonderful 2019!
Thanks for visiting. I am very grateful for the very kind and generous comments, the faves and invitations.

I already posted www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/31240829477/in/datepo... what was the end view of my hike to Munken. This is in the beginning of the hike, where I came from sea level (somewhere on the left of the picture) and this is after ca 300 meters climbing. The magnificent view here was only the beginning of ridiculously many wonderful shots from which it is hard to choose. More to follow!
Further more you can see that it is still early in spring, where the green grass is just starting to awake.
