... or how to bring colour into a grey world.
This week's theme of the 'Smile on Saturday' group is 'Selective Colour'. I used to love selective colour but for some reason haven't used it in a long time, so I was very happy with the theme. Mousie obviously enjoyed the theme too ! :) HSoS !

- Some of us cannot get enough of it, we want to take it home with us, nature's beauty that is, Dreamy Draw Rock, AZ. -
...with 50mm lens and light.
Even because these flowers don't even exist anymore. :(
The heat of Rio is indeed relentless for indoor plants.

What an amazing scene this was there in the middle of the day with the lovely sky, painted South Dakota landscape ... and the dry white mound that I was standing on overlooking the scene. The three layers of the scene was fun to frame up there.
Captured with the CPL filter.
Een tijdje terug was ik voor nachtopnames in ons park. Ik experimenteerde toen ook met beweging. Dit is is de lichtreclame van onze plaatselijke chinees.
A while ago I was for night shoots in our park. I also experimented with movement at the time. This is the neon sign of our local Chinese.
Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.
When a camera meets a brush?
Thank you deckersamy and Patricia de Chenier for inspire me to make this picture
Taking photos remains almost the only fun I may have these days. And if the conditions are comparatively OK - I go outside.
In this case the forecast was "fully clear sky". Despite of it the sky is cloudy. Only after the sun sets down the magic starts. Sky is transforming into the painting.
Thank you for all the comments and faves, my friends. Stay safe!
for Smile on Saturday ;-)

Another oil painting depicting a classic Parisian street scene with the Eiffel Tower visible in the background. It was a gift from a good friend.
I would like to take this instance to thank him, as well as all of you, dear friends, sincerely.
A flower photo from the esplanade that I wasn't keen on, so I decided to spend some time on it and artify it and now I'm quite keen on it!
All thoughts most welcome as usual!

"These paintings convey movement and emotion in response to both living and dried florals in the studio. Working from observation, I'm responding to what I see and feel - a musical mark in the sweep of a brush or a calligraphic scribble. Most importantly, they take me out of myself and I am able to let go. The struggles in life are echoed in the resolution of each piece - for me, a deep sense of satisfaction and peace.
