... or how to bring colour into a grey world.
This week's theme of the 'Smile on Saturday' group is 'Selective Colour'. I used to love selective colour but for some reason haven't used it in a long time, so I was very happy with the theme. Mousie obviously enjoyed the theme too ! :) HSoS !

The sunset light acted as a mysterious brush, showing its magic painting up in the sky and down to the water.
Inspired by the image "Spring Vision" witch I recently uploaded, I paint this picture. Mixed Techniques on canvas 50 x 70 cm

"I Still Can See Your Face"
At least one moment everyday
I hear the echo of your voice
And though it's only in my mind,
It stays with me, I have no choice
I reached for you as if you're here
Your tender touch, your warm embrace
And though it's been so many years
I still can see your face

Een tijdje terug was ik voor nachtopnames in ons park. Ik experimenteerde toen ook met beweging. Dit is is de lichtreclame van onze plaatselijke chinees.
A while ago I was for night shoots in our park. I also experimented with movement at the time. This is the neon sign of our local Chinese.
Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

Even because these flowers don't even exist anymore. :(
The heat of Rio is indeed relentless for indoor plants.

Amazing how one setup can represent your life....
Coffee & snacks...home made and fresh..
Paper to draw on or to scribble words/poems...
A headphone for some music
Pieces of nature to remind you there is still an outdoors....
The ash tray... No I don't smoke... but I do need to sharp my pencil, right 😉
Have a lovely Sunday all....
❤

It was Sunday morning in June
Trees in my garden provide shades and shelters
I like the shadow paintings of the tree
That shadow areas are relatively flat and dark
The walls have these paintings on sunny days
Sunlight paintings on the white house
I like the dark shadow paintings from the sun
The shadows have no higher saturation of color.

I am not that good with a brush in my hand, but give me two minutes with the shutter open I can get pretty close to painting this scene.
Might be neat to take one of these shots from Ocean City and apply some brush textures to it ;)
for Smile on Saturday ;-)

Theme: Light painting
Light painting is pretty new to me, in fact I've only ever tried it one other time. I don't have the proper tools but made do with my led lights and a helpful hand from my husband. We managed and had fun in the process !
Another oil painting depicting a classic Parisian street scene with the Eiffel Tower visible in the background. It was a gift from a good friend.
I would like to take this instance to thank him, as well as all of you, dear friends, sincerely.
