Hi my friends, I'm back on Flickr. I had some problems, but I'm back here. As always, I thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on my photos, have a nice day. :-)
[Title: Peace]
I turned the photo in black and white because it seems more interesting to me. An element in the foreground (the pier) has given depth to the photo.

A pair of locomotives bring up the rear of a northbound coal empty on KCS just north of Lanagan, Missouri.
Good travels at a snail's pace. Those who want to do good are not selfish, they are not in a hurry, they know that to impregnate people with good requires a long time.-- Mahatma Gandhi
Found this little guy on my porch this morning and used the tools I had at my disposal - an ipad for the surface and my cell phone for the light. I love it when my subjects come to me.
Spread some good around today, I am going to try!

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Such an awesome piece of facial hair as I captured this guy pacing back and forth. Enjoy!
The ornate pillar supporting the platform canopy at Pontypridd station gets top billing for this shot - although arguably the 40yo Transport for Wales class 150 'Sprinter' might equally qualify for both billing and title.
Two-car unit 150251 waits time at platform 1 with the 11.54am Pontypridd - Cardiff Bay (2B46) service.
With the new multi-mode replacement units being rolled out at pace, it's questionable whether the Sprinters will last beyond the end of 2025.

Another Pacer shot from earlier this year taken whilst out chasing 37's. 143610 departs Lisvane & Thornhill station with a Penarth bound service, as the sky is illuminated purple over Cardiff.
I have a few pacing shots of SOO SD60M's, too, and this one from December 2011 is probably the best one. I like the low light of a clear late autumn/early winter evening, and I even got a bit of a self-portrait with the shadow of my trusty Mercury Milan in the lower right. I'm still driving that car today, with over 213,000 miles on it.

A visit to Hengoed to photograph the last of the class 37 workings also afforded the chance to grab a few Pacers running about. Here 143606 heads into the station with a Penarth bound working.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I loved the muted sandy colours and the reflections from windows opposite - and, of course, they guy who was pacing back and forth through the frame. Enjoy!
Previously unpublished shot from April 2019.
