View from the deck yesterday...awoke to the same today. Ground still too warm for it to stick. Not unusual at all to have October snow, but I become less enthused about it with each passing year.
Pardon the pun but needed a change of pace with my gallery. I know some peeps eat these guys, but I prefer fast food. And if you think because they are supposedly slow trying shooting one with a macro lens. Especially one with a big "S on it's shell ..... you should see the S-car-go.
My apologies, it's late Sunday night ;) Have an awesome weekend what's left of it!
Snail's Pace - The rate in which spring is unfurling in Wales 2021
Many thanks for faves & comments, they're much appreciated :-)
Ho trasformato l'immagine in bianco e nero perché mi sembrava più interessante. Un elemento in primo piano (il molo) ha dato profondità alla foto.
[Title: Peace]
I turned the photo in black and white because it seems more interesting to me. An element in the foreground (the pier) has given depth to the photo.
In keeping pace with "new America" I want to state there is no hole in the windshield nor the presence of any rust on the body of this brand new Buick.

Good travels at a snail's pace. Those who want to do good are not selfish, they are not in a hurry, they know that to impregnate people with good requires a long time.-- Mahatma Gandhi
Found this little guy on my porch this morning and used the tools I had at my disposal - an ipad for the surface and my cell phone for the light. I love it when my subjects come to me.
Spread some good around today, I am going to try!
On March 7, 1995, after seeing the power on this Santa Fe intermodal train passing through Siberia, California, I decided to give chase on parallel Route 66. In a pacing view from the famous highway is pair of A-B locomotives from two different railroads—not a likely thing to happen, especially then since BN and Santa Fe haven’t merged yet. Santa Fe EMD SD40-2 No. 5134 leads EMD SD45-2B No. 5513 from the home road, while trailing is Burlington Northern EMD SD40-2 No. 7031 mated with GE B30-7A No. 4097, powering the eastbound train streaking across the Mojave Desert approaching Bagdad.
Another Pacer shot from earlier this year taken whilst out chasing 37's. 143610 departs Lisvane & Thornhill station with a Penarth bound service, as the sky is illuminated purple over Cardiff.
Conductor Tim Trudgen throws a wave as Norfolk Southern freight train 14R flies north on the Buffalo Line with two Canadian National motors leading a black and white horse through Dauphin County PA.

A visit to Hengoed to photograph the last of the class 37 workings also afforded the chance to grab a few Pacers running about. Here 143606 heads into the station with a Penarth bound working.

se non c'è strada dentro al cuore degli altri
prima o poi si traccerà .......
