Pudong Airport [PVG] is the airport for international flights into, and out of, Shanghai China. It has an interesting structure with a roof suspended by cables which you can see at the top right of this picture. On the left is the tilted structure that supports the outside glass wall which allows a view of the apron. I liked the symmetry and array quality of the structure.
PVG to YVR on AC038 B767-300: We flew over the city of Vancouver and then made a wide 180 to head back to YVR airport. This photo captured the unusual view of the shadow of the plane on the clouds below surrounded by a circular rainbow [Bottom left].
PVG to YVR on AC038 B767-300: The most northerly point on the 11+ hour flight and according to the on-board GPS we are over the ice covered Being Sea as dawn breaks.
