Shanghai Pudong Terminal 1 is a good place for aviation photography with the minor exception of dirty windows at the far end overlooking the connecting taxiway to T2. Still plenty of variety in the many domestic airlines operating from here plus the international visitors.

After the usual standing in line for 40-45 minutes to check in, arguing with the Air Canada counter agent to get us seated together, filling in the departure forms, going through customs and immigration and then waiting in the departure lounge for another 45 minutes or so... we finally boarded the plane and pushed back from Gate 25 at Pudong Airport.
