Boeing AH-64D "Apache Longbow " (PVD-240)(USAr 01-05240)(Converted from AH-64A PV-096 84-24236)
Brothers Mark and Joe Rowbothan began operating a 14-seat Napier bus on contract work in the Mow Cop area of Staffordshire in 1921. Mark subsequently opted to venture into goods haulage, leaving Joe to take the bus business forward, joined later by his son Bill (WS). An approach by Foden to operate a works service to Elworth was the start of a long relationship between the two companies - although, at that time, there were no Fodens in Rowbothan’s mixed fleet. The first arrived in 1945 and, by 1952, there were five examples in the fleet, including a rear-engined PVR coach. I have no specific information about this double-decker other than that it was bodied by Massey. Day two of Western running the 141 see's use of something a little different. While capacity isn't an issue, the shorter length of the Enviro 400 in comparison to the Enviro 300 allows it to negotiate the streets that little bit easier. 15944 is captured here on Dumbarton Road in Partick whilst heading to the terminus at the bus station.

The 777-200 for my flight back to Chicago being prepped on the tarmac at Shanghai. There are several container ships seen in the distance beyond the runway. This flight was another on time arrival!
