Pollock Halls of Residence are the main halls of residence for the University of Edinburgh, located at the foot of Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Here it is another picture that continues the concept expressed along with the photo posted yesterday. The subject is no longer a glacier, but a rock, partially covered by the typical red lichens.
Shot taken in the Col du Mont Cenis area (2.083 m) under the dim evening light, which, in my opinion, makes it possible to appreciate the close parallelism between the natural geometry of these blooms and the abstract expressionism of modern painting.
Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, anyhow, even considering that this is and remains a rock, I can't help but see reminiscences of the Pollock's style :-)
