Oldtimer Place ....

See me on : 500px : Inge David

Another journey with my camera at twilight

the same local ridge-line

a different country.

One ICM exposure.

Two raw conversions of it for colour.

And something else added in another layer...

not so quiet this time ;-)

Oh and best viewed in low light.

I made this at night

and was very surprised in the morning

to see how dark it seems in bright light.

The place to be in Platteville Wisconsin. A nice town. A safe town. A friendly town. A little island of normalcy and sanity in a rapidly changing world.

It once provided shelter and healing...... until He took its place...

Featuring the Skye Studio Rocky Shore Collection. This set is outstanding...it can transform any area into a beautiful and peaceful place to retreat...I paired it with the Skye Enchanted Woods with the Skye Epic Cliffs in the background...

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

~ Elliott Erwitt

Nothing more ordinary than the side of the road...

Never fear to deliberately walk through dark places, for that is how you reach the light on the other side. Vernon Howard

A dog never lies to you. And the ocean never lets anything stand in its way.

Isaiah 58:11 “And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”

"Di tanto in tanto, nelle giornate ventose, Hervé Joncour scendeva al lago e passava ore a guardarlo, perché, attratto dall'acqua, sembrava vedere l'inesplicabile spettacolo di luci che era stata la sua vita."

"From time to time, on windy days, Hervé Joncour would go down to the lake and spend hours looking at it, for, drawn in the water, he seemed to see the inexplicable, light spectacle that had been his life."
