Le pic du Balaïtous (3 144 m) est le premier pic de la chaîne dépassant l'altitude de 3 000 m depuis la côte atlantique. Il est le plus haut sommet du massif du Balaïtous, massif granitique pyrénéen se situant à la frontière entre la France et l'Espagne.
Le lac du Tech est un lac de barrage français situé administrativement dans la commune d'Arrens-Marsous dans le département des Hautes-Pyrénées en région Occitanie.

Ce jeune pic épeiche commence à pointer le nez hors de la loge. Quelques jours plus tard, il sera parti.
