One lucky winner to join me at the Facebook Headquarters for an amazing photo walk on the garden roof at sunset! (Note this is a private event for Facebook employees) Just add a comment and let me know where you're from and what kind of photography you enjoy. The winner will also get one free year of the new "Passport" feature on the blog that includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and the new HDR Tutorial we just finished filming in Venice! :) More at ift.tt/2hOWl9G I will pick a random winner for the event soon - the photo walk will be this Tuesday at 4 PM. Best of luck everyone! BTW, this photo is from my home in New Zealand... here in SF for a few days to do some events before Christmas! via Trey Ratcliff on FB at ift.tt/1v05hWZ Snapchat: treyratcliff ift.tt/1qx3iMJ Instagram: treyratcliff ift.tt/1c7s6Uy

a few 2016 photos in a movie with some 3d effects
music: Gabin "The other way around"
to anwser your question: to do those kind of effects you need Adobe Photoshop (to create masks and depth maps), Adobe After Effects ( for the rain on the window, and the effect like on the close- up portrait or the photo with flashlights) and PremierePro for the rest of effects and putting it all together with music)

An installation display that I was volunteering at over December.
Read about the display here: www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/19760581.no-25-golden-s...
I’ve known many of you on here for well over 5-6 years, and think back to those times, when all I posted was raptor and bird photos. What an amazing and inspiring trip it’s been since then. I’ve embraced the photography journey and have found my passion actually lies in many different areas. In this image, that is actually me in the frame, swimming and lining up the shot. My friend Sammy Garcia took the photo. It gives a good perspective of what it takes to get a surf alignment shot. Cold water. Heavy shorebreak. Surf knowledge and skills needed. I’m a huge fan of alignments, and this image is a great example of one. To see the shot I got from this session, scroll back an image or two in my Flickr feed. Don’t get me wrong, I still love birds and bird photography immensely. But there is so much other inspiring stuff out there to shoot when conditions get good, that the focus has shifted nowadays. Maybe this will inspire other bird photographers to aim at some other targets on occasion. It can add a lot to the overall look of a personal gallery. Thank you for viewing and reading. Have a nice day!

Yelling at the sky
Screaming at the world
Baby, why'd you go away?
I'm still your girl
Holding on too tight
Head up in the clouds
Heaven only knows
Where you are now
How do I love
How do I love again?
How do I trust
How do I trust again?
I stay up all night
Tell myself I'm alright
Baby, you're just harder to see than most
I put the record on
Wait 'til I hear our song
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost
Never got the chance
To say a last goodbye
I gotta move on
But it hurts to try
How do I love
How do I love again?
How do I trust
How do I trust again?
I stay up all night
Tell myself I'm alright
Baby, you're just harder to see than most
I put the record on
Wait 'til I hear our song
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost
During our photo walk in Tokyo, we were accompanied by this Japanese Youtube star who spoke about -1 English. She was really funny and happy all the time though, always eating snacks and laughing. There was a group of about 100 of us walking in the rain. At one point, I asked her to go walk over here with her umbrella for a quick photo. I've forgotten her name, but maybe The Internet Knows! :) via Trey Ratcliff on FB at ift.tt/1v05hWZ Snapchat: treyratcliff ift.tt/1qx3iMJ Instagram: treyratcliff ift.tt/1c7s6Uy
