This shot took me ages as the sun was directly behind the bird. Fortunately it was more than happy to sit patiently for me.
On the wall opposite in perfect light it's pall was having none of it and cleared off well before I was close enough for a shot.

Big day for me today as I finally gained enough courage to drive one of the trails, albeit a somewhat easy one. After we came off the trail, e decided we needed some lunch so we stopped by Dutch John Creek which is pretty low right now. Sat on a rock in the middle of the creek and eat our fruit and nuts and had some lemonade. When I photographed this same creek in the fall, it was a roaring little torrent.
All that's missing is me, I did get in the "Streak" (the name of my my yak) right after I took this shot and heard another photographer say "Perrrrrrfect" while i was out in the middle. So he has one of me in the Streak out there on the world wide web somewhere ;-) It really was a perfect night, a kayaker's dream come true....you instantly became one with the water.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a kayak so that is kind of the same thing. I should start calling myself Kayakgirlrightup...ha!

Hope you are all still feeling good? In these strange moments it’s easy to get wrapped up in all of it so I really hope that more colorful days loke this one are not that far away. As a matter of fact we are leaving now to enjoy another one of these. What do you think?
After climbing Mt Owen, the highest peak in Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand, we camped by the tarns between Granity Pass Hut and the summit. We had a little bit of rain and then it fined up to a beautiful afternoon - so many photos were taken :)

Being fully matured, one of the Canada Goose Goslings that I photographed provides a perfect profile photo.
I don't think that you will see a Dahlia in such a perfect circle as this one from my friends garden.

I love the perfect imperfections of nature as Autumn comes calling. The Angels with her repairs and weather worn marks and the leaves were taken in the peaceful haven of the Iveagh Gardens, Dublin City.
Not constructed, atleast by me, I was mushroom hunting yesterday when I came across this scene - a maple leaf perfectly situated between mushrooms along a stump. Had I been thinking I would have take it at F22 to capture everything, but alas, no go. So the main mushroom is super sharp and the rest, less so. Still I really do enjoy the scene.
