Pen-y-pass is a mountain pass in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north-west Wales.

It is a popular location from which to walk up Snowdon, as three of the popular routes can be started here. Glyder Fawr, to the north, is also accessible from here.

As seen at the pen show in London this year. I came home with a couple of bottles of ink!

Pont Pen y Llyn,

[ Pen y Llyn Bridge ] Brynrefail.

This stone bridge was built in 1826 to connect the Fachwen Slate Quarry to the Main Road from Caernarfon to Llanberis.

It has four arches and crosses the River Rhythallt, the outlet of Llyn Padarn.

Pen y Llyn means - " End of the lake "

Before the bridge was built, legendary strong woman Marged ferch Ifan used to row passed here when transporting copper ore

for 7km in her self-made boat.

Nice color contrast between the animal pen and the hills. Picture taken from the road between Cusco and Puno, Peru.

Those who know me personally will know I have a little van and like to travel around the UK for my photography. I recently spent some time in Brecon and West Wales for just under two weeks. And I really loved spending time focusing on photography again. Just getting through some of the pictures now and so I have lots of wildlife and landscapes stories to come. :)

This Image is from the first night where I walked up Pen Y Fan. I set off at 1am and only reached the peak at 6am as I was too distracted taking pictures of the stars on the way up! But I was just in time for a beautiful sunrise. :) It was seriously an amazing walk in the night and would highly recommend to anyone.

Having some problems with photoshop at the moment and it seems to not work or crash when I'm using it anyone else having problems?

These photos were shot on a hike in the Brecon Beacons following the Cwm Llwch horseshoe walk. This is a 8 mile walk starting at Cwm Gwdi car park. It is the hard way to the summit of Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in southern Britain.

Focus stack (82 images) Shot with two off-camera strobes (Godos AD200Pro/Godox XPro II L trigger). Flash A bare bublb, mounted to overhead boom, bounced off white umbrella directly over subject. Looking at pen y llyn stone built bridge at the end of natural llyn padarn and it arches it was built 199 years ago by John Hughes initially a blacksmith and he worked for Lord Newborough at Glynllifon estates.
