Four ex-Santa Fe GP39-2s drag PNWR 663 through Portland's Pearl District towards Lake Yard where it will drop off its train and then run light power across the Willamette and Columbia Rivers to Vancouver, Washington where it will pick up its southbound train.
Portland has some cool buildings. Here’s a shot from a street-level perspective looking up at KOIN Tower, a 35-story Neo-Art Deco beauty...third tallest skyscraper in the city.
