#NowPlaying: "Gone Home" (2013)
Gone Home is an adventure game developed and published by The Fullbright Company.
As the player, one would imagine themselves going into someones home while they are away. You go through their things only to discover backstories of the people that live there.
Breaking and entering is indeed illegal; however, that's not what the game is about. In this case, you in fact take on the role of Katie. Katie is the eldest daughter of the household that finds her family's new home (a mansion) empty after she arrives from a long trek through Europe.
The mission is to find out where everyone is, while uncovering secrets about her family by rummaging through her family's belongings and the many rooms that the new house has to offer.
So far so good. I've put in a bit of time prior to the dinner bell. Found this image of Lonnie taken circa 1994.

This picture won me and two friends, from a PCGamer contest, a trip down to Texas to see the GearBox studio, meet some of their workers, play the game, get a free copy, and have an awesome sweet time. And yes, that is a real, $30,000 Thompson Sub Machine Gun.
