John Hedgecoes store fotohåndbog har fulgt mange fotografer i deres første læreår og gennem fotolivet. Denne landede også hos mig i det forgangne år. Bogen giver en grundlæggende viden om det analoge fotografi. Blandt andet skriver han, at de fleste film regnes for 2 - 3 gange hurtigere end fabrikanterne opgiver. Især Tri-x og HP5 med en hastighed på 400 ASA/27 DIN giver bedre resultater på 800 -1200 ASA.
Denne Kodak Tri-X er skudt på 800 ASA.
Samtidig er den gamle dame "Minolta XG-1" fundet frem af gemmerne. Hun var mit føste kamera. Her er brugt 50mm /1.7. I den kommende tid må 50 mm f/2 også forsøges. Jeg er næsten sikker på, at det var mit oprindelige objektiv.
Der kommer flere billeder, når jeg får dem skannet. Det tager sin tid. Her kunne fokus vist være lidt bedre.

It doesn't matter what livery, NS, CR or CSX- The SD80MAC's are just cool looking locomotives. They remind me of the styling the ALCO's had and when I see one (or two) I need to photograph it. Unfortunately, I got into photography too late and never captured them in their Conrail livery (I saw them, just didn't photograph them) but I'm happy that NS has them all at this point. Here are two of the remaining 29- NS 7222- originally CR 4113 to CSX 806 & 4596. NS 7217- Originally CR 4100 to CSX 800 & 4590. NS Enola Yard, PA.

Besides the exposition in La Générale (Avenue Parmentier Paris 11ème) Invader has his work at display in this galerie as well. Invader is having his exposition "INVADER 1000" celebrating the 1000th space invader of Paris. From June 7 till July 2 2011.
Even the bigger space invaders have an "alias" like this #800 which was installed in the 2nd arrondissement on 25/03/2009.

Invader must have thought that number 800 should be something special. It is a huge classic invader in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris with large tiles in the colors green and red, the same colors of the book "Invasion de Paris".
The total weight of this space invader is 40 kilograms and the performance took 3 hours.

Number 800 in Paris had to be something special and big. And Invader succeeded in making something really special in the heart of the city.
The total weight of this one is 40 kilograms and it took Invader about 3 hours to install this one (according to an interview in "20Minutes").

Odd Bratland fra Namsen FIF var blant landets aller beste mellomdistanseløpere på 1960- og 70-tallet, og vant NM på 800 meter. Her sammen med Viktor Waagan i Kleppen i 1971. Bildet er hentet fra Namdal Arbeiderblad.
Sommeren 1959 ble det arrangert interkretskonkurranse i friidrett mellom Namdal og Fosen på Stadion på Tiendeholmen. Her et glimt fra starten på 800 meter med blant andre namsosingen Sigurd Mikalsen blant deltakerne. Bildet stod på trykk i Nordtrønderen og Namdalen.
Ved Vennesla Idrettslags stevne den 26. august 1934 satte Karl Lunden ny Sørlandsrekord på 3000 meter med 9,22,6. Den gamle rekorden var på 9,28. Ved nasjonalt friidrettsstevne i Vennesla 2. juni 1935 satte Karl Lunden ny Sørlandsrekord på 5000 meter med 16,18,6 Nasjonalt stevne i Lillesand 10. juni 1935 ble han nr. 1 på 800 og 3000 meter. Ved pokalstevne for juniorer i Kristiansand var det innlagt 10 000 meter løp for seniorer. Lunden løp distansen på den oppsiktsvekkende tiden 33,47,2. Det var ny krets- og sørlandsrekord, og dessuten det beste resultat i landet på det tidspunktet av året.
