The bus now arriving at platform one is the Alexander Dennis class, PA 253 on route 1, operated by Ringsend Garage from Sandymount to Santry.
From Sunday 28th, the route will fundamentally change, transferring from Ringsend to Summerhill garages & the route itself only operating from Santry to City Centre as the southside section will be operated by the new C spine launching in the area.
Dublin Bus PA 253 is seen on Merrion Street Lower with a service on route 82 to Kiltipper Way. 03/01/2026

A 'runner' in the night along the Seine. A mirroreyed space invader from which I have never seen the original. Thanks to the re-activation team this one is back in town. Visible and flashable for the fans!
The Tour Eiffel is glittering and Mars was very clear and close to planet Earth this evening.
Onscreen FlashInvaders message: "AWESOME!"

Both PA 729 and PA 879 have their beginnings at this upcoming 4-way intersection.
PA 729 (22 miles long) travels south from this intersection and serves the communities of Lumber City, Ansonville, Glen Hope and Beccaria before ending at PA 253/453 in Smithmill.
PA 879 (43 miles long) travels east from this intersection and serves the communities of Curwensville and Clearfield before interchanging w/ I-80. From there, it serves the communities of Shawville, Lecontes Mills, Frenchville, Karthaus and Pine Glen before ending at PA 144 near Moshannon.

C/2019 D1 is a returning long period comet discovered by H. Flewelling of the ATLAS survey on 2019-Feb-26 at magnitude 16.7 with a short 0.7 arc min tail. C/2019 D1 passed perihelion 2019-May-11 at 1.577 AU from the sun.
C/2019 D1 (Flewelling) passed perihelion 19 days ago and continues to show a short dust tail. Earth passed through the comet's orbit plane on 2019-May-13 and is now below the plane (PlAng is negative). C/2019 D1 (Flewelling) is located in the morning sky constellation of Pegasus.
