La Madonna dello Zerbion fu innalzata nel 1929 vol nome di Regina Pacis per gli eroi della prima guerra mondiale.
Tutti gli anni, il 29 luglio, si celebra una Messa in loro onore sul piccolo altare di legno alla base

Dopo il pranzo con un panino il tempo si stava aprendo, nonostante le previsioni di peggioramento e di pioggia.
Un temporale lì sulla cima, con tre ore di cammino e un dislivello di 900 m, , per arrivare al punto di ritrovo , sarebbe stato pericoloso.

Il 4 luglio del 13 a.C. il Senato Romano decise di costruire un altare dedicato alla pace in occasione del ritorno di Augusto da una spedizione pacificatrice di tre anni in Spagna e nella Gallia meridionale.
La dedica, cioè la cerimonia di consacrazione solenne, ebbe luogo fil 30 gennaio del 9 a.C., data importante perché compleanno di Livia, moglie di Augusto.
Il monumento era collocato con un'entrata sull'antica via Flaminia e una verso il Campo Marzio.
