Postcard. ca. 1960.

From back: "This building was the first contructed on the grounds of the Christian Home. It was made possible by an unknown donor who contributed an undetermined amount as a Gift of Love - "In His Name". It is named Cornerstone Hall, not only to call attention to the stone which upholds it and its unique message, but to remind us of the spirit expressed. This gratifying work of caring for homeless and neglected children has been perpetuated since 1883 by thousands of free gifts received from throughout the U.S."

1966 Ford GT40 MkI

On display at Legendary Motorcar Co, Milton ON

The salesman told me that this car was originally a road car that was converted to JWA Gulf racing livery, but he did not know the car's serial number. After consulting the SAAC World Registry, I think it may well be chassis no. P/1028.

This is the first GT40 road car delivered to North America, and was used as Ford's public relations car in the U.S. and Canada, hence the faux "GT40 PR" license plate.
