It's fair season across the United States, and every county in Maryland celebrates with its own annual fair. This nighttime photograph captures the vibrant energy of The Great Frederick Fair, one of Maryland's signature late-summer traditions. As darkness falls, the midway comes alive with dazzling lights, glowing rides, and streams of people moving through the grounds. The long exposure transforms the scene into a tapestry of color, light, and motion, conveying the excitement, nostalgia, and timeless appeal of a classic American county fair.

On February 22, 2025, Guggenmusik bands filled the streets of Schwäbisch Gmünd with powerful brass sounds and vibrant energy. Dressed in striking costumes with bold face paint, these musicians brought an electrifying atmosphere to the city. Their synchronized performance, fiery expressions, and golden instruments reflected the true spirit of carnival.
Yet, looking back, this moment is tinged with sadness—one day later, the German federal election took place, and its outcome left me disappointed. A memory of celebration, now clouded by reflection.

A steampunk event was held at the Ribble Steam Railway in Preston on Saturday, 20th June 2026. The event included unlimited steam train rides, themed traders, live entertainment, and tours of the workshops.
The 2026 Capital Fair is Ottawa's signature 10-day summer carnival, which concluded its 51st annual edition today, running from August 14 to August 23, 2026. Held at the corner of Albion Road and Rideau Road in Gloucester, this year’s fair simultaneously celebrated Ottawa's 200th Bicentennial Anniversary. It includes an amusement park area operated by World's Finest Shows featuring popular rides like the Century Wheel, Magic Carpet, and Monkey Mayhem. High-energy crowd-pleasers included the Extreme Lumberjack Show, Aces Flying Pig Races, extreme stunt dog shows, and a demolition derby.

Marked by rows of traditional sampans and the cheers of enthusiastic crowds, highlights a deep-rooted connection between the river and the people of the port city. Despite the rise of modern engine boats, this traditional race remains a powerful symbol of Chattogram’s identity, reminding everyone of the need to preserve both the river’s health and this centuries-old cultural legacy.
