När våren kommer i april börjar
enligt många sportfiskare det roligaste
fisket på västkusten, nämligen fisket
efter havsöring. Detta fiske bedrivs i
de grunda områdena i innerskärgården.
Havsöringen kan fiskas på flugspö
eller spinnspö. Flugfisket är bäst
då öringen är försiktig att nappa som
när det är kallt i vattnet eller under
den ljusa årstiden. Havsöringfisket
brukar vara allra bäst på grundområdena
i mitten av april

A little manufactured pareidolia here in an effort to be unique within the contours of the assignment. The last time I got crafty with O-rings was a challenging attempt at sculpture taking several tries before it stayed intact for the photoshoot and for some time afterward, at least until one of my cats got to it.
I recently aquired this guy by shear luck and total surprise from some jerk who's really not a jerk but claims to be one. Thanks Jerk!! Your truely #1 and best ......

Three rubber O-rings, assembled into a sculpture resembling a familiar Atomic Age icon formally called a Rutherford atom.
Even though O-rings were originally developed to be used as a seal or gasket, they also come in handy for certain applications as belts or drive tires.
Macro Monday challenge of circles. This is an oxygen compatible O-ring about 14mm external diameter fitted to the pillar valve of my diving cylinder.

Should be much better now. Will see.
O-ring 15x2mm. The inner diameter of the groove is about 15.5mm. Fits OK. I ordered also 14mm, in case these will be too loose, I'll give a try to the smaller ones.
Test results were pretty optimistic.
Update 20211017
- the bigger o-ring than original rubber causes the flange of the wheel gets more space from the rail edge. This results in excessive wheel play and is unpredictable on switches.
Update 20211128
I did a try with 13x1.5 and the results for Bo'Bo lok is fine. Good grip to the track and no noticeable problems with how the wheels take the points and curves.
Still need to evaluate Co'Co setup but I don't think there will be a problem.
