Walking along the national coastal path.
The Sun light turns the mist into a strange orange glow as I follow the path around the Island. The Sun low in the sky has to travel through more of the Earth’s atmosphere separating light into the lower end of the spectrum. I love this time of year.

Cruising through the 753 meter Hanoura Tunnel in Anan, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. This newly opened passage is bright, clean, and well maintained, with 24 hour lighting and modern safety features including SOS phones and constant monitoring.
Although I have many more, this is the last of the captures for the time being of Godrevy Lighthouse. Hopefully I will capture the sunset one day

A different crop to an earlier version of this capture. If I have learned anything over the past 8 months, a crop will have a dramatic affect on the presentation of a composition
Carrying on the Godrevy theme; I do like LE however, why would you disguise the reflections of light on the ripples of the sea?
L'Etoile Alençonnaise, il y a une bonne paire de décennies, avait connu une triste fin qui poussa mes condisciples et moi-même à faire de la gymnastique scolaire dans un ancien local EDF prêté et réaménagé pour cela, durant de très longues années.
Heureusement, la lumière de l'Etoile Alençonnaise n'avait pas dit son dernier mot. Un bâtiment tout neuf, sis rue de Verdun, vit le jour... Et ses longueurs toute brutalistes vont très bien au Foutographe monomaniaque que je suis...
Not so many mushrooms left in my forest, this one was pretty worn out of the hard life in the forest.
The light is there, to take it safely home 🙏.
In the middle of the night, appears these orange lights and solved my submission for the theme... twice .

So this was the shot that I wanted for Christmas Day. But on Christmas Eve it was not lit. Not all this week either. So I assumed this person was done. Well, tonight while taking some Grand kids to see some awesome lights. There she was. So we saw the lights and then I double backed with my tripod to get a nice long exposure of this.
100 ISO and all that. Can even see the mesh on the stocking if you enlarge the image.
I did a few very small tweaks in Lightroom

The Norwegian Royal Family and the Norwegian Government use the Cathedral for public events. It's called Oslo Cathedral (Norwegian: Oslo domkirke).

Layers of wire, and notice those lines along the circumference of the armature, highlighted by orange light? Those are thin layers of metal separated by insulation to minimize eddy currents that reduce efficiency; the same layered design is used in transformer cores. For much more detail, see:

The orange light filtering from the window is due to the dark smoky skies outside as a result of nearby wildfires. The air quality was too dangerous to be outside for extended time periods.
Un peu de candeur ne fait jamais de mal. Alors un photobomb à base d'un joli bonnet rose au milieu d'une scène autrement... intéressante, sans plus...! Moi je sig...euh... Je déclenche ! :-))
Parapluie noir, ombrelle lumineuse candide...
Ce serait presque le titre d'une chanson française...
Bon. Certes. Une MAUVAISE chanson française.
Mais si un jour ce titre voit le jour, je tiens cette image comme potentielle pochette de CD !
...Oui bon ça va hein ! D'ici à ce que ça arrive, le CD-ROM sera devenu hipster... :-))

5:54 pm, the sun hangs low, glowing through the haze. Tree branches stretch across the frame, breaking up the soft orange light. There's a quiet cityscape behind it all—power lines, buildings, the usual urban touch. What I couldn't get to work with this shot when uploading to Flickr were the crushed blacks. Not the best, but I like the shot, so here it is.
