The afternoon breakout group I joined was working on a mobile location-based app to allow users to subscribe to civic events and event types on a web site and receive SMS notifications whenever they are near - in place and time - to an event of interest. I was surprised at how much we accomplished in a little over 3 hours.

This morning OpenGov Hub hosted Sergio Fajardo, governor of Antioquia, Colombia to talk about transparency and open government. His presentation style was unique - each slide is a photo of his hand-drawn ideas. That certainly made for a personal and informative discussion.
