Hundreds of people have gathered at Stonehenge to watch the sunrise on the first official day of autumn.
About 250 druids, pagans and visitors were given access to the stones to mark the autumn equinox for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

This piece is called The Gulf Stream. It was created in Boston, Massachusetts in 1899 by artist Winslow Homer. It is an American oil painting and it’s dimensions are 28 1/8 by 49 1/8 inches. This dramatic painting is a part of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Collection, Wolfe Fund, 1906. It is public domain and can be viewed on the met museum website.
