SX-70 Sonar Onestep, Poraloid 600 @ Hirosaki Uni Garden, Aomori, Japan
One of my universities I went was Hirosaki University, and now, I was back to visit the garden of it. When I was a student, they didn't have any gardens for the public, but now, students grow some flowers. Now, there were a lot of tulips and some kids were playing around. I majored in the Bio-production when I was a student here, so I was sort of having the mixed feeling. I just came up with the past here.
Anyway, I love the close-up photos of flowers. This is one of my favorite parts in photography.

No ND filter used. I had been using a OneStep inherited from my uncle as a car show prop, and earlier had purchased a pack of film for Dixie Square that never got shot. So I burned it here.

polaroid onestep circa 70s? 80s?
got for free while cleaning grandma's house. her rule is basically that if i find it, and i want it, it's mine.
i am going to have to make some modifications, since sx-70 film is no longer being made... it'll take 600 film but i have to mess with filters and exposure time so it doesn't screw up everything i take.

Happy 'roid week! I actually was going to take these this week anyway for an idea I've had brewing for a while. It worked out nicely that is it 'roid week.
Here's what I did with these.
Anyway this is in Pinnacle Mountain State Park. This is part of the Ouachita National Hiking Trail and was formerly part of Highway 300. It was bypassed in 1981 when a new two-lane bridge was added.

Use iDVD's OneStep DVD function, just connect DV camcorder to iMac G5, one click, iDVD will burn DV tape directly to DVD. No need to do anything. It's easy to use and very useful.

58/365, You have no idea how tough this one was to take. He kept wanting to get up and walk forward to sniff the camera...and get a reward for sitting for so long. I gave him two!

PX100 Silver Shade
This is my second Polaroid shot with my Polaroid OneStep closeup camera. It is a shot of a AeroStat above one of the towers of a castle ruin that Alexander the Great built in Gardiz Afghanistan, which is now on FOB Good.
First time out with this camera. I left the exposure dial right in the middle to get a feel for it. Obviously way overexposed, but, now I know!

One of my favorite areas in Japan is Shimokitazawa.
This area has sort of Japanese traditional atmosphere and at the same time, has a hip collection of trendy fashion. When I started living in Japan, I was looking for an apartment first. Now, I am living near this area, so I am really happy about it.
