My co-worker, Rory, new I was obsessed with mobile photography and posting photos instantly on Instagram. For Christmas he got me this! The original instant photography. I took it on a road trip last weekend and realized how photogenic it was sitting on the dash. Here's a shot of it with some car headlight bokeh.

I recently repotted and did a little wiring on my "in training" Atlas Cedar (Cedris atlantica). I photographed it on three different instant films, here then is the first of the three.

This house in Bentonville is so cool. Whoever lives here keeps it looking amazing. The fruit growing here caught the eye of my wife, and led me to wanting a photo. The landscaping paired with such a cool house takes it to another level of being an awesome property.

'Roid Week Spring 2017. (Day 4, no.2)
Three cameras, three films.
I recently acquired this potted tree from a neighbor. It's in a pretty small pot, so I'm sure it needs repotting. I'm going to have to smash this nice pot in order to remove it. The trunk was surrounded by sedum, which kept it moist, but perhaps too much so, such that the trunk was soft, like the beginning of rot. So I pulled out all the sedum and I got a good look at the base and surface roots. It's a beautiful tree and has a strong "shari" (otherwise known as deadwood) running up one side. I'm very excited to work with it.

I wish Polaroid could get their color film as dialed in as the black and white film is. The color film is usually pretty good, but it's just not as consistently awesome as the monochrome. Just look at the dynamic range, resolution, and contrast! It looks so good while still delivering instant film character.
Anyway, this is another of my favorite places in Colorado from my most recent family vacation. Hard to beat standing by the side of a stream at elevation in the Rockies.
