A street view of One WTC.The shot was taken on Watts St in the SoHo historic district. There are several wide streets in SoHo (esp the ones closest to the Holland Tunnel) where when you look inside them, you can get a good view of One World Trade Center and the WTC complex. The color in the treatment for One WTC is pretty much the same as the original. The color for the other buildings changed a bit.I don't take really like take pictures of the new WTC because I feel too much attention has been given to it. At the same time however I understand that there are many out there that haven't seen it, or probably never will,so I'll takea few shots.I have some older shots of the WTC in my album if you want to take at look at them.Have a great 2016, everybody..͡° ͜ʖ ͡°
Morning Zen at Glacier Park's Pray Lake with Mt. Sinopah majestically rising in the distance.
Light snow fell the night before with more snow on the way. All was calm and tranquil. No one else here. I enjoyed a wonderful sense of oneness with this special scene and moment. Nature's bliss.
Have a wonderful Sunday evening and week ahead!
No cars, no inhabitants, no internet, no shops...! A wonderful place to live in, one week at least. And a perfect Sunday!

You can refave if you'd like.I'm Sorry.
I took the shot this past Saturday morning.I was stepping out of the building where I work when I saw this reddish tone on the pavement in the courtyard.I was telling a coworker, "Wow,it's beautiful outside".I walked out further into the courtyard and when I saw the sky,I was blown away by it's beauty!I took a few shots, but I liked the angle on this one the best. Thanks for checking it out and have a wonderful day:-)
If its wings were open, it would show their beautiful color ... blue!
This is a Blue morpho (Morpho Peleides) and is one of my favorites because it is like seeing two different butterflies in one.

The tulip originated centuries ago in Persia and Turkey, where it played a significant role in the art and culture of the time. Most likely commenting on the Turkish tradition of wearing tulips in one’s turban, Europeans mistakenly gave tulips their name, which comes from the Persian word meaning turban.
The meaning of tulips is generally perfect love . Like many flowers, different colors of tulips also often carry their own significance. Red tulips are most strongly associated with true love, while purple symbolizes royalty. The meaning of yellow tulips has evolved somewhat, from once representing hopeless love to now being a common expression for cheerful thoughts and sunshine. White tulips are used to claim worthiness or to send a message of forgiveness. Variegated tulips, once among the most popular varieties due to their striking color patterns, represent beautiful eyes.

My sunset photography drought has continued for the past couple of weeks, but at least there was one photogenic sunset.

But here is one."

One day it's here and then it's gone
How are you still holding on?
How are you still holding on?
You've felt this way for far too long
Waiting for a change to come
You know you're not the only one
And life passes you by
Don't be wasting your time
On your own
You always try to see yourself
Through the eyes of someone else
Through the eyes of someone else
Too shy to say that you need help
You and everybody else
You and everybody else
Oh, life passes you by
Don't waste your time
On your own
Yeah life passes you by
Don't be wasting your time
All alone
As your heart gets bigger
And you try to figure out
What's it all about
And your skin gets thicker
As you try to figure out
What's it all about
Yeah life passes you by
Don't waste your time
On your own
One day it's here and then it's gone
How are you still holding on?
How are you still holding on?
*many thanks to my dear friend Tre Meldazis, that allowed me to work in this peaceful and gorgeous SIM to take the pic :)

“Looking up, I observed one solitary leaf that remained on a spindly branch of an old oak tree. And as winter’s frigid winds blew against it twisting it this way and that, I thought that it was either committed to holding on as long as it could or it was afraid to let go.”

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is one single petal. It is an awesome and very creative theme, however I had one problem: I have no flowers at my house and our dandelions aren’t yellow anymore… Once again, I had to steal from my neighbor. He has this beautiful (and very fancy in my opinion) rose bush, so i decided to steal some petals from the rose bush … The whole scene was hilarious, since it was raining very hard, so I had my umbrella in one hand while trying to grab discreetly some petals from a flower… I didn’t want to take the whole flower since I dont want to destroy my neighbor’s plants… We love our neighbors and their plants !! Of course I could have ask my husband to buy me some flowers but I dont want to buy a whole bunch of flowers just for one single petal….Point number 2: i could have ask my neighbor if I could grab few petals from his rose bush but I dont like to explain that i have a passion for photography and that I’m addicted to Flickr and I’m able to do almost anything for a good flickr challenge. I don’t want my neighbors to think that I’m even crazier that they already know lol
So here is my take on the theme… Oh yeah I also kidnapped a tiny caterpillar form my neighbor’s rose bush … The caterpillar was awful to work with (very stubborn and surprisingly fast !!) and was set free as soon as the photoshoot was over… Lets wish him all the luck in his new life (since the caterpillar was released in my backyard I’m assuming it will never be able to find its way back to the rose bush , so new life for the caterpillar !).
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! Have a beautiful day and see you later…I truly hope you will like my picture !! !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
