I thought about how there are things that seem like a bad idea right from the start, but we do them anyway.
That you are a passenger and no longer have the control you thought you had
A great mural painted in Eastern Market in Detroit. A little tough to get as there's always cars parked in front of it

Evening shadows make me blue
When each weary day is through
How I long to be with you
My happiness
Every day I reminesce
Dreaming of your tender kiss
Always thinking how I miss
My happiness
A million years it seems
Have gone by since we shared our dreams
But I'll hold you again
There'll be no blue memories then
Whether skies are grey or blue
Any place on earth will do
Just as long as I'm with you
My happiness
A million years it seems
Have gone by since we shared our dreams
But I'll hold you again
There'll be no blue memories then
Whether skies are grey or blue
Any place on earth will do
Just as long as I'm with you
My happiness

Because even when your suv`s door pops open spilling your stuff out onto the street in the rain, you`ll be secure in knowing your bleach blond hair will retain all its color.
Happy Hall-ohshit I missed it...
So yeah, I made DJ Scully from Killing Floor, though hes not 100% completed yet. I posted this because criticism would be nice. That and I wanted to show off the head mod (if you can call it that), because it has to be one of my favorite mods that I've made over the past month.
Well, I did it.
I quit my job. My last day will be October 27th. Ally's 4th birthday. Also, it will be exactly 7 years and 1 month to the day I started here.
I've got nothing lined up. I'm sending resumés, but no nibbles. I have a couple "possibilities" but they are just that. Possibilities. Not probabilities. Maybe it was a dumb move, but I don't think so.
You see, it's time to take control of my life. Time to do what I want to do. Not what someone thinks I should do. I'm done with it. I'm just done. I'm not going to let myself be controlled by what others think is best for me. I'm done with that. I'm just done with it. No more (right Myla? :-D). I'm scared. I'm not real confident and I have no idea how I'm going to support my family, but I can't live with the depression any more. I have to find what will make me happy. I have to take a leap of faith and give myself the freedom to fly....
Sheepish P.S. - Anyone know anyone looking for a designer, art director, photoshop specialist, etc???
Even more sheepish P.S. - Anyone wanna buy a print from a soon to be starving artist???
The 38-foot Macavity apparently broke its mooring and drifted toward shore. It ran aground on the reef fronting the Kona Inn Restaurant.
Just a picture of me lying mostly dead in my driveway.
I don’t really have much to say today.
It’s kind of funny. I’ve been staring at this shot all day long thinking of something to say about it.
Maybe I could talk about gangsters and the made up stories I used to tell the people I meet about my kinda Sicilian but totally AWESOME grandfather?
Maybe I could talk about dying and dead people?
Or maybe I could talk about getting murdered and the effect that could have on my family and friends? Blood, guts, gore, fucking insanity.
Fuck it. I don’t want to talk about any of that.
I don’t want to talk about anything really. Just a lazy Sunday man.
The album listed below? Ha.
Well it just was released in the 1970’s. I personally discovered it many years ago. I used to listen to it working out at the gym I used to work out at. I often listen to it in my car.
Just so you know, this album has influenced so many “indie” bands that come out today. It is raw man. Post-punk at it’s MAX.
This album took punk music, mixed in a little bit of art, politics, suave, and a tiny bit of cute and made it into one of the best albums ever released on planet Earth.
LOVE!
PS-Don’t you just love how I make every sentence a paragraph? It’s totally fantastic. I don’t do it on purpose. It’s just how I talk and entirely how I think.
I swear.
Bye.
PS-Later gator.

Was one of the worst days ever!
Is it that time again already? I just realized that today is July 11th...
I posted this photo a while ago, then changed it to private. I think I will make it public for one day each year on this day, for my new contacts to see. For those of you who have not seen this... Here it is again.
Looking back, it is quite amusing. You'll probably have to open this large to read it. But first... Let me set this up. I was the staff photographer for the Coast Star newspaper. I didn't even shoot this picture of these Yacht Club kids, it was sent in to us, but I scanned it into the computer, as I often did. After scanning, I saved it. Whatever you save it as gets printed out under the photo when you print it. It didn't really matter what I named the file, it just had to be descriptive enough that the graphic arts department knew what caption to put under the photo. Well... While pasting up the page, they chopped off my title, couldn't find the proper caption, so they stuck my title back on the page (a little crooked) then forgot about it... And away it went, into the 'done' pile, and off to press, with my filename as the only caption.
OK... go ahead... Open it large.
So, this is how it ran!!! I still have a copy of it with me.
Of course the boss totally blamed me for the whole thing. It was loads of fun around the office that week. A couple days later, they sent me to the yacht club for the entire day to take about a hundred different photos of every different activity they do, for the next weeks paper. What we lovingly referred to as the "Yacht club dorks, asskissing issue."
I went to this park around 7pm but it was very dark and you really are not aloud there after dark. (I chanced it) After taking this photo I decided to walk down the path a bit for another view....then out of the pitch black darkness .... kerplunk!.... it sounded like a large rock dropping into the water. i stopped in my tracks and waited....kerplunk again. i turn around and started walking fast...looking back to see if anyone was behind me...kerplunk again! Oh sh*@! I ran as fast as I could back to my car which was a ways away. I made it safely away but I am still thinking about what the heck made that noise. If it was not some scary person trying to scare the living blank out of me then my most educated guess would be ducks or turtles that (I) startled and made flee the scene into the water. I was not hanging around to find out. I made note to self to bring a flash light next time. I got this one good photo out of the scary trip.
I have some pens and pencils.
A sketchbook.
And a head full of quotes, lyrics and the like.
