Konark, the medium town in the Puri district in the state of Odisha includes this beach, which is at a distance of 3 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Konark Temple. The beach attracts visitors for its amazing beauty, but it is still relatively less crowded and maintained properly. The beach at times accommodate large crowd on special occasions and hence special arrangements are also made to handle the flock.
