Now it has mostly Sri Lankans enjoying their beaches while dreaming of tourists who will give them the opportunity to work and leave the beaches to them.

Rainbow Bay, southern end of the Gold Coast (Australia) at dusk, with a lone surfer, before it got darker (see previous darker shot on this sunset called “Ocean Serenity”). The background features Surfers Paradise City at the northern end of the Gold Coast, 30kms away. Overall, a very popular local and international destination.
The ocean was very calm with small waves rolling in. If the eye is keen, one can also just see other surfers paddling out on the left hand side. The clouds add another layer of serenity to the ocean.
