OTD post from 2021:
Our first morning in the park was extremely foggy, In fact we could barely see the lake when eating breakfast. It was so cool watching the fog layer rise during the course of the morning, until eventually it was gone all together.

We left CLNP in the south and drove to Hood River up north.
Mt Hood dominates the landscape in the northern half of the state. HFF!
Hello Everyone and Happy Sunday to you all, I feel so bad for not posting a photo in almost two weeks, I usually like to post at least two a week for you all to enjoy. However as Real Life would have it, things outside of your control take you in a very different direction. I will not go into the details, suffice it to say, I had RL work to deal with and the disasters that seemed to keep coming. Thankfully I had plenty of chocolate to help me through it and finally am able to take a rest from being drained for a few days and gather up my sanity again.
I have another photo I am working on at the moment and have thoughts to go along with the picture, so I will slap a piece of tape over my mouth and save my thoughts for that one.
For right now I wanted to take a photo of a simple profile of myself.I love the grey sweater I am wearing, the simple ear rings and hair. A simple outfit for a simple indoor Sunday. :)
Thank you for allowing me to share my photo with you and I promise I have more photos coming. Have a wonderful Sunday and beginning of the week.
xoxo,
Hildda

This was our first time staying in one the historic NP lodges.
We had a really nice two-night stay in this charming 1915 lodge. This lounge area is outside the dining room. HWW!

We left the Redwoods in CA and heading back into the interior to Crater Lake NP in OR. On the way, we did a detour to catch Toketee Falls. This mini-falls heart was along the trail, shortly before the big drop (below - posted earlier).
We then made it to Crater Lake NP, where we checked into the historic 1915 Lodge for a two night stay.
