G-pa says: An Educational Center was dedicated to two past physicians at The Methodist Hospital in 2009. Edwin Ory was one of them; his portrait is on the wall in the above pic. His four sons, all physicians stand with me in front of the painting. They are (l to r) Robert, Richard, Steven , and Peter. I shared office space with Ed in the Hermann Professional Bldg and The Medical Towers from about 1954 to 1972.

A cloudy day @ the beach, I spoted this location not occupied by the surrounding fishermen. Sea is a good topic for practicing long exposure shots. Since i am alone this day and have time (i took 8 shots in one and half hour time) and just got a ND 10Stop filter, it was a good opportunity to practice. I am honestly quite proud to publish this photograph, considering i've been a photographer amateur for 3 years, recently exploring the long exposure world. Consider it got quite a lot of pos-processing, specially on the de-noising side, may be linked to the following ; I do not have experienced the effect that the viewfinder shall be abstructed during long exposure shot; so i use my body and hand to provide shade on this side... Unfortunately i had to chase after my flip-flop for a minute or so while taking this shot because the sea got it from a rock i left it and i feared not being able to get it back before the end of this 259s shot. By the way i used the App PhotoPills to run the Math on the exposure time. It is just great if you want a all-in-one app, expensive, but truly worth the money in my opinion (solely)
