Ome Zombie + Cleaning Lady (Australia) + ... aka Nikola Mounoud (Switzerland)
Ome Zombie is the tumultuous hell-child of mercurial saxophonist Akihiko Ando (Kuruu Crew) and shambolic drummer Emi Nobuko (Tsurubami). Traversing the unpaved musical landscape of hardcore, noise-rock, free jazz, and lo-fi psychedelia, Ome Zombie crashes into mountains of sludge, stumbles through swamps of viscous drone, and twists through valleys of beautifully tangled harmonies.
Every performance features the duo with a guest musician in tow, and this time around, Australian multi-tasker Stephen Richards aka Cleaning Lady will provide the necessary skronk and splatter as he alternates between saxophone and no-input mixing board. For the second half of the set, "..." (aka Nikola Mounoud, from Swiss extreme performance/noise duo Overload Collapse) will add a layer of industrial-sized mulch to the proceedings.
A rare chance to see three heavy units battle it out on (relatively) foreign soil.

Der OME-Talent VT 0008 als Nahverkehrszug aus und nach Feldberg im Bahnhof Neustrelitz Süd, aufgenommen am 27. Mai 2000. Das Bändchen am Scheibenwischer ist der Trauerflor da an diesem Tag der letzte Betriebstag zwischen Neustrelitz und Feldberg war. Die Bahnstrecke von Neustrelitz nach Feldberg wurde 1890 von der Mecklenburgischen Friedrich-Wilhelm-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (MFWE) eröffnet. Vom Fahrplanwechsel im Mai 1998 bis zur Einstellung am 27. Mai 2000 verkehrte die OME (Ostmecklenburgische Eisenbahn) auf dieser Strecke.

At last, after nearly 3 years in our 'new' home, we're at that point where the garden is beginning to blossom and bloom, in a small way. Looking forward with some trepidation to the hundred or so tiny plants which apparently are on their way now. Looking into my crystal ball, I foresee muddy knees and hands, bearing in mind the deluges we have had and the sodden state of the ground! Watch this space!
