Now we are back in Diano Marina, where we will spend most of the summer. I took the two nuns with the DSLR a few years ago, but they still stroll through the Corsa Roma when something is going on. For this minimalist study, the time of the shot doesn't matter.

Burros are one of the attractions at Custer State Park. They are feral donkeys, descendants of pack animals. Normally they roam free, but, like bison, they are periodically rounded up for medical checkups and who knows what else. A busful of nuns came by while we were there. It was such a cute moment, the nuns were so excited to see and interact with the burros.

Carved over aeons of time by the rough Atlantic waves into a horse-shoe shaped cove, this secluded beach lies just north of Ballybunion Castle. It is located under an old convent, and was used by the resident nuns in times past as a private bathing area.

Mountain Nünenen reflecting in a pond collecting different little brooks, forming the beginning of the river Gürbe. The Gürbe flows into the Aare, the Aare into the Rhine and the Rhine into the North Sea.

Etwas nach dem Alpinisten Doppel kam der nächste BLS Zug. Der Stahlzug aus Emmenbrücke welcher zuverlässig mit einem Re 4/4 kam ist jedoch seit Fahrplanwechsel auch Geschichte. Nun wird dieser von SBB Cargo meist mit einem Re 10/10 über den Berg gewuchtet.

In der Nacht war es sternenklar gewesen und so habe ich mich noch im Dunkeln aus der warmen Bettdecke geschält. Doch schon bei der Ausfahrt aus -firlievillage- war mir klar, das wird nichts Spektakuläres heute. Kurz nach dieser Aufnahme hat es sich auch gleich zugezogen.

Aber was solls, eine kleine Wanderung in der Morgenstunde ist was Feines und ein bisschen hämisch tue ich nun verkünden:

"Ätsch, ich hab SIE wenigstens gesehen !"

Last weekend I took a trip back to Nuns Cross Farm on Dartmoor. This is the farmhouse from the night shoot I did the other week. It looks a lot different in the day time and I think it looks even creepier. I actually got lost getting there at the weekend as I took the wrong path lol! God knows how I managed to find it in the dark and get home alive!!

Auch dieses Bild ist nun schon etwas älter, aber, so wie die anderen Bilder der letzten Tage, habe ich sie bislang nie gepostet. Nun habe ich sie ein wenig überarbeitet und: bitte schön 😁.
